The Short Version
Batch Grab runs entirely on your Android device. We don't operate a VPN, we don't proxy your Instacart traffic through our servers, and we never ask for or store your Instacart login. Batch Grab works by reading what's already on your screen through an on-device overlay and tapping on your behalf — the same way you would, just faster.
What We Don't Collect
- Your Instacart username or password — Batch Grab never asks for these and has no way to access your Instacart account credentials.
- The contents of your Instacart batches, deliveries, or in-app messages. Batch analysis happens locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Your precise real-time location, except where you explicitly use the GPS spoofing feature (Pro plan), which operates locally on your device.
What We Do Collect
To create and manage your Batch Grab account, we collect:
- An email address and/or phone number, used to identify your account and for support communication.
- Subscription and billing information, processed by Stripe — our payment processor. Batch Grab does not store your full payment card details; Stripe handles that in line with its own privacy policy.
- Your saved filters, favorite stores, and batch history, stored to your account so your settings carry over between devices.
- Basic device and diagnostic information (app version, device type) used to troubleshoot support requests and keep the app working reliably.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information above only to: operate your account and subscription, provide customer support (primarily via Telegram), keep the app secure and reliable, and communicate important updates about the service. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Support via Telegram
If you contact us for support through Telegram, that conversation is also subject to Telegram's own privacy policy, since Telegram is a separate platform we don't control.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our account deletion guide for the exact steps. Deletion requests are typically processed within 24–48 hours.
Children's Privacy
Batch Grab is intended for use by Instacart shoppers, who must meet Instacart's own minimum age requirements to hold a Shopper account. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active subscribers through the app or Telegram.
